Contemporary Jewelry: Sterling /Copper set with freeform cabochons and gemstones
Kerri Shannon, an art jewelry metalsmith, enjoys fabricating pendants, rings, earrings, and bracelets from semiprecious metals. Her pieces are all individually designed and handcrafted using sterling silver and/or copper; paired with semi-precious gem stones. Kerri utilizes several metal-smithing techniques to add texture and color to the sterling silver/copper. She enjoys soldering, as well as cold connection techniques. Kerri has recently learned Lapidary: cutting, shaping, and polishing stones. She is inspired in part by nature, but also by architecture. Please see the Jewelry Showings page for upcoming exhibits and Art Shows.

Kerri Shannon will be adding a new line of contemporary jewelry for the 2012 season. I will be using sterling silver and or copper to create architecturally influenced pendants, cuff bracelets and earrings. I also enjoy "fold forming" technique to create very dimensional pieces.
